Adult Acting Class Schedule and Prices

The two Adult (21 and older) classes are On-going Scene Study Classes and meet Wednesday 6-9 and Thursday 6-9 (prior training required.) Beginner Classes meet on Monday 6-9, and Tuesday 6-9.  No prior training required in Beginner Classes.

These are four separate classes with 14 different students in each. For example if we put you in Tuesday Class you’d pay $200 for 4 weeks of class and come every Tuesday. After the 4 weeks are up you pay tuition again on the 5th week.

Tuition – $200 for four weeks ($200 is the minimum payment.)

We take checks (made out to Howey Acting Studio,) Cash, Venmo and Zelle. No credit cards or debit cards.

We address bad acting before it becomes a habit.  Bill and Carla are not afraid of pointing out those things actors do that are not real, organic or believable. Like indicating the emotion instead of making it personal, not using any subtext, not really listening so there is no real reacting, not revealing the character’s inner life through behavior, not using one’s imagination along with their own emotions and feelings, and the most important thing of all not putting ones own individual and unique personality into their work and many more little things actors do and don’t do.

Learn the necessary skills and tools to becoming a compelling and believable actor from experienced teachers who really want you to succeed.
